IR teams deal with high-stakes, time-sensitive work (earnings prep, investor Q&A, trend analysis). Their tools are often fragmented and rigid, making it hard to act fast or prepare with confidence.
Our goal was to design an AI-driven dashboard that integrated real-time insights, customizable data widgets, and smart collaboration without overwhelming users.

I was responsible for the end-to-end design process, from discovery to delivery, alongside another senior designer and collaborated deeply with product and engineering throughout.

Validated early dev POC widgets and defined constraints
Aligned technical feasibility with design through close pairing with devs

Set UX constraints for usability: min width, content breakpoints, layout rules

Each chart type (bar, line, pie) needed clear constraints for usability and consistency
Defined specs like: stroke widths, padding, legends, axis formatting, and scroll behavior
Worked with engineering to evaluate scale vs scroll logic for long labels or dense data
Built responsive behaviors to ensure legibility across screen sizes and dashboard widths

Before launch, we partnered with 20 customer teams to test the AI Dashboard in a closed Beta. This was a critical phase where we moved from assumptions to validation, observing how real IR teams used the product in their workflows and identifying key friction points to address.
What I did:
Designed onboarding materials (email campaign, reminders)
Collected feedback via async recordings (PostHog) & stakeholder calls
Identified pain points: low discoverability of widget creation, and friction in editing
